Reliving Gilligans Island…

“hurry up, sweety, we’re reallly late”, he hollered..

I rushed about pickign things up, and thrust a cake box in his hand…go down, i told him.. we wrestled with the car for fifteen min, trying to get all the stuff in..seats moved back n forth..upright and reclined..until we found our solution…putting the stuff on the OTHER side..lol..and off we set to our meeting point.

We got off the car, and joint the little congregation near the bun kabab wala..we chattered amongst ourselves, the noise of the traffic threatening to drown out our voices.. we finally left when the last two people arrived.. and off we went in four cars over the bumpy rickety roads leading from S.I.T.E towards the beach.. The birthday boy wasnt surprised at the plan..but he smiled anyway :)

Adjusting the wire of the car tape yet again, I fumbled for songs that my  ”he” might like to hear as we hurtled over rocks, gravel, and several sharp little other things..

It is eleven by the time we reach, and the guards act difficult ofcourse, trying to wheedle more money out of us than the agreed price.. we haggle for a while, but then we finally enter…

…the shack is like a palace..spacious parking in the drive way,

a beautiful sitting area, rooms , kitchenette, etc etc..and a spacious patio out front….and ten steps away is a private little enclosed beach

i suppose the company is what makes the night special – the boys sat down to bbq some of the best chicken ive ever had…and the hostess, that darling girl, ran around doing everything despite of hurting her hand..she was the model host…

Post dinner, the chairs were left as they were, we went out onto the beach and sat on several occasions…once i bumped my head on the gate real bad…so, ouchie!!!

There were three highlights of the evening

1. the fact that it was our first night out together as a couple..:)

2. that the cutest baby ever was with us, Mashalllahh..nazar na lagey

3. The guitar playing and sitting by the fire after eating..it was so majestic and beautiful..the stars shining brightly like crystals on blue velvet..the cool breeze from the sea, the warmth from the fire..and the melodic strumming and humming along to of songs such as aitebaar…:)

it took me down memory lane to so many good memories of the past…

Then we had a scare with a doggie!: ( and the baby woke up :(

… but celebrations followed, cake was cut…and we feasted..

We came home to a new dawn..and I honestly feel like I haven;t had this much fun in a long time :) Thank u sweets..for makign it possible :) i truly had a wonderful time
